We understand the importance of finding the right  match and therefore consider the first few meetings with your therapist to be consultative in nature. We will work with you to determine what might be most helpful and make recommendations regarding your treatment.

Individual & Couples Psychotherapy
Psychotherapy meetings are 50 minutes in duration once a week or more frequently, as determined by you and your therapist.

Assessment & Evaluation
For those unfamiliar with psychotherapy, we offer a time limited (1-3 session) assessment and evaluation in order to determine the nature of your current difficulties and potential solutions. Recommendations may include ongoing treatment at PIBB or referral to one of several carefully selected, skilled professionals in other disciplines, such as psychopharmolocology, neuropsychologogy, career coaching, etc.

We acknowledge the way in which the psychoanalytic establishment has historically neglected to acknowledge the impacts of racism, homophobia and other forms of prejudice on the experience of individuals. We are committed to holding in mind and grappling with these previously neglected dimensions in our teaching, learning, and clinical work.
